i've had the items for over a year now. and thanks to a wonderful PT in Garlaige Citadel (sam/war, drg/war, whm/blm, pld/war, mnk/war and me) i got to the magic 7,799 XP.

left on for 48 hrs and DL'ing, jumped right back online this evening.

a) Island Rarabs link
b) two of them will batter through my defences
c) if i'm using my {Warp Cudgel} as a weapon instead of my {Crimson Blade} (to feed them TP, so i can learn {Wild Carrot}, then i dont do enough damage to allow myself to AFK whilst soloing the Rabbits.

oh well, at least i didnt delevel.

decent party in the basement at Garlaige Citadel. nin/war thf/nin dnc/nin sam/thf blu/rdm and whm/rdm. would have been nicer with a RDM - i suck with no {refresh} - but hey ho. i got the level ^_^

well, got PLD to 17 and bored again.

was going to head back to Valkurm after re-equipping and thought "sodit".

switched back to BLU and re-kitted. went to Jeuno. and waited an hour with no invites.


SOOO me and Q tried duo-ing in CN... crap all..

i'm going to head back out tomorrow.

verily i was raised and joined the group, not on the beach but in teh trees by the OP. nice enough, fighting with 5 of us on crabs till the 6th joined, then taking Flies at a reasonable rate.
not your average party though - War/-, Mnk/-, Pld/Blu (me), Rdm/Blm, Drk/War and Blu/Whm.

which worked - oddly. even when the PL left with the Mnk, and we got another Whm/Blm to replace. no real proper tank, so the hate was going all over the shop, but it got the sub-less folks to level 18 and me to level 17, i set {Coccoon} (+3 VIT! how nice!), said my {Goodbye!}s and managed to make the run back to Konschat alive. although i did have to 2-hour to stay that way.

Pld/Blu is fun. I got stick for not being /War for {Provoke}, but my damage was reasonable and i was landing 50% of my {Sprout Smack} and {Wild Oats} spells - but fun nevertheless.
don't know if i'm going to keep playing PLD past the Dunes. Since my Blu is level 47 i can use it as sub for anything up to level 75.

(i may yet return to Drg/Blu...)

bored once again.

DNC/PUP is fun but i hit 13 so needed to tackle the Dunes.

not fun.

SO. i picked a new job at random and landed on PLD. currently at 11.
i set /BLU - on a whim, some of my LJ mates had said that it works - and rekitted myself. set out from Bastok instead of Windy - so i get the easier run to teh dunes - and have merrily slaughtered my way to 14.

and now again i have fucking connection issues meaning that, lo and behold, i can only play first thing in the morning.

hmmm. i wonder when i can switch providers?
