okay, so maybe I'm not so uber.

trying to unlock the last three Jobs, Summoner, Puppetmaster and Corsair.

PUP and COR first, i thought.
I've done the PUP bit in Bastok already, so..
Jeuno >> Mhaura >> Boat to Al Zhabi
Cutscenes aplenty.
Map buying aplenty.
Sounds simple.
Caerdarva Mire >> Arrapagho Reef for PUP.
Caerdarva Mire >> Arrapagho Reef >> Tallacca Cove for COR.
Tele home in time for tea.

Problem 1: maps
I have no maps of the Reef or Mire.
i have, however, FFXIAtlas. so i print out maps for reference.

Problem 2: mobs
In the Mire and Reef there are these mobs called Chigoes. little insects that you can't see till they move or attack.
they have no names over their heads. and dont show on Widescan. and Aggro to sound.

so at the start of the mire i buff up: Blink, Protect II, Shell, Stoneskin, Phalanx, Coccoon. Sneak and Invis. and head off.

i managed to get about 70% of the way there before my Sneak ran out.
I paused in a tunnel (the previous one having been occupant-free) and cast me a new Sneak
The Chigoe hits Krystall for ##### Damage
Krystall has been Defeated
Krystall falls to level 33

WTF? it hit me through blink (which gives shadows that should negate damage), Stoneskin (reduces a lot of hits to 0) and Phalanx (which reduces everything that Stoneskin doesnt) and still it fecking one-shotted me.

oh well, back to levelling other jobs.
